Marvel at picturesque views of Lindbergh Bay as your plane approaches the runway at one of the busiest airports in the eastern Caribbean. The origins of the 280-acre airport date to the 1920s. Operated by the Virgin Islands Port Authority, it’s situated on the southwest side of St. Thomas, just two miles away from the bustling Charlotte Amalie capital city and harbor area. 

Several significant enhancements were recently completed, or are in progress, and travelers will welcome upgrades to terminals, lounges, and concession and shopping areas.
