ST. CROIX

Like sports cars? Like jet skis? Then your boys will absolutely love the Jetcars at VI Exotic Watersports. Hop behind the wheel to cruise the Caribbean surf in style, cranking the volume on your favorite beats through the in-car Bluetooth. Powered by a four-cylinder Yamaha Marine engine, each Jetcar can hit speeds of nearly 60 MPH.

Golf in paradise, where St. Croix’s three courses offer more than just great views. The par-72 Carambola Golf Club boasts a design by legendary Robert Trent Jones Sr., surrounded by lush tropical greenery. The Buccaneer Beach & Golf Resort is home to a challenging course designed by PGA Pro Bob Joyce, with 18 holes overlooking stunning water vistas. And The Reef Golf Course combines a nine-hole course with frisbee golf, pickleball and tennis along the turquoise waters of Teague Bay.

Climb aboard an ATV at Gecko’s Island Adventures for a two-hour trek through the rugged island terrain of St. Croix. The 15-mile Original ATV Tour starts in downtown Frederiksted. You’ll travel the island’s western coastline and climb Mount Stewart for epic views. Stop to explore historic sugar plantation ruins and traverse the sub-tropical rainforest before returning to Frederiksted. Get dirty and make some memories!

Swap stories about your exploits on St. Croix over succulent local lobster and juicy steaks at Duggan’s Reef. This beachfront restaurant in Christiansted sources fresh ingredients daily for its island menu. Try the lobster sauteed in whiskey and spiced rum, or dig into the Surf and Turf — a half-lobster and 8-oz. NY strip steak — while the sun sets over Teague Bay.

ST. JOHN

Explore a quiet cove under the moonlight on the St. John Night Kayak GLOW Tour. First, decorate yourselves with glow-in-the-dark paint and take group photos with your crew. Then, step into a clear-bottomed kayak with powerful LED lights that illuminate the water below. You’ll spend about 50 minutes on the water, looking for stingrays, tarpon and sea turtles in the depths beneath your vessel.

Ranked #1 among The World’s 50 Best Beaches for 2024, Trunk Bay is a must see. Its white sand, clear turquoise waters and swaying palms make it the quintessential Caribbean beach. Rent snorkel gear and follow the Trunk Bay Underwater Snorkel Trail, a 400-foot coral reef dotted with submerged signage about this delicate ecosystem. Spot yellowtail snapper, striped sergeant majors, iridescent parrotfish and spiny pufferfish as you swim.

Don’t skip your cardio during your stay on St. John. The Reef Bay Trail will give you a chance to take in the sights and break a sweat. Hike 2.2 miles downhill through a shady forest — exploring sugar mill ruins and petroglyphs left by the pre-Colombian Taíno people along the way — until you reach secluded Reef Bay Beach. Save some energy and bring plenty of water, as the 900-foot climb back up will test your mettle.

Take off on a pub crawl through Cruz Bay. Visit local dive Caps Place for cold beer and Dominican food, plus slot machines. Catch soccer or football on the TVs at The Tap & Still, and enjoy draft beer and juicy burgers on the breezy porch. Head to The Parrot Club for tropical cocktails and frozen drinks while trying your hand at blackjack or poker. Then, pull up a stool at The Beach Bar to sip Painkillers alongside live music and stunning views of Cruz Bay Harbor. Or dig into stone-oven pizza and rum-based craft cocktails at Lovango Rum Bar, hosting daily live music at sunset. No designated driver necessary — these stops are all within a few blocks of each other.

ST. THOMAS

Gear up and SCUBA among fascinating shipwrecks with Red Hook Dive Center. While SCUBA dive locations depend on real-time surface conditions, they often include exploring shipwrecks and colorful coral reefs, plus night dives. Any non-certified divers in your group can snorkel near the surface. Or, if you’re all new to SCUBA try their Discover experience, a 40-foot dive under careful instructor supervision with no certification required.

Head offshore on a private fishing charter to test your angling skills and reel in the big one. Top charter services like Ocean Surfari Charters or Double Header Sportfishing will provide you with all the gear you need. Find tuna, marlin, grouper and mahi in deep water, or stick to shallow seas for tarpon, kingfish, yellow snapper and rainbow runner. Compete to see whose catch will earn the biggest bragging rights!

Nothing brings a group together like a shared thrill. At Tree Limin’ Extreme experience the heart-pounding action of speeding through the treetops on a zipline, along with some of the best views on the island. First, ascend St. Peter Mountain in a six-wheel drive Swiss Army Pinzgauer. Then, race over the treetops on six separate ziplines, with top speeds of up to 35 MPH. These will undoubtedly be some of the best photo ops of your trip.

Dinner at Rendezvous on the Waterfront is a must for the foodies in your group. This new fine dining restaurant overlooks St. Thomas Harbor from its second-floor perch, dishing up inventive Caribbean cuisine. Start with the crab fritters before moving on to tender filet mignon with garlic confit butter. Stay after dinner for live music and DJ sets to cap off your night.
